MAMI with Please See//
Rebranding an 18-year-old film festival. The film festival needed a fresh and classic look. It should relate to Bombay and movies but should also have it’s own character/personality.
Making a mark which tells the story of the city and movies at the same time. Mumbai being a coastal city, the smell of fish is very iconic and metaphorically the film industry is a sea of talent with big and small fish. The graphic of the abstract fish has been laid out to write ‘MAMI’ in Devanagari type. The thought process is extended to the visual and verbal language of the festival.
